POSITION:                   DIRECTOR NURSING REHABILITATION SERVICES,

                                    SKILLED NURSING, AND LONG TERM CARE

Company:                    Comprehensive full service Integrated Healthcare System comprised of three hospitals (including a Level II emergency/Trauma center, 3 comprehensive clinics, and recognized teaching hospital) with multi-site acute-care facilities (450+ combined beds) and clinics in Northern California.

Responsibilities:          Seeking experienced Director Nursing inpatient and outpatient  acute rehabilitation, occupational therapy, skilled nursing, neuro-respiratory, and outpatient HIV services in a 159 licensed-bed acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and sub-acute neuro-respiratory facility.  

                                    Reports to Chief Nurse Executive with matrix reporting to Administrator Rehabilitation Services

As key member of leadership team, will lead patient care/nursing services including nursing team recruitment and retention, employee and labor relations, quality, people and financial management, and expand appropriate training partnerships for nursing team and organization.

Requirements:             RN and Bachelor degree required; advanced degree highly preferred in Nursing Administration, Business Administration or related field. 

                                    7+ years of progressively more responsible leadership experience including in and out-patient nursing services

                                    Labor/union relations experience highly preferred
