Job Description: Good Shepherd is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader with acute care or rehabilitation experience. The chosen candidate would be given the opportunity to be an essential part of enhancing patient care as well as development of new programs.
As Director of Rehabiliation you will:
Lead and supervise a team of skilled professionals
Communicate regularly with employees while building productive relationships
Develop staff by encouraging continual growth, create learning plans, provide coaching, clearly define work expectations and address performance issues.
Guide the process of forming a unified team resulting in minimum employee turnover.
Recruit competent staff that demonstrate the ability to be service oriented and aligned with the organizations core values.
•Manage and organize daily operations
Establish/Update processes and work practices by analyzing data and identifying opportunities for improvement
Contribute to the strategic planning process by developing 3-5 year strategic imperatives and measures of success
Develop and Implement change management strategies
Accountable for Financial Management by developing an annual budget and monitoring the progression of the budget throughout the fiscal year.
Partner with other leaders in the development of new business opportunities
Ensure consistent compliance in regards to staff credentials, survey readiness, labor laws, state and federal requirements and employee safety.
Job Requirements: 4-6 years experience as an acute-care or rehab hospital manager. Bachelors’ degree in hospital administration, business administration, or the equivalent clinical degree required. Clinical Rehab and/or Pediatric experience a plus.
